Lance Koonce

Lance Koonce specializes in intellectual property counseling and litigation for clients in the software, advertising, publishing, music, television/film, fashion and consumer products fields, including both start-ups and Fortune 100 companies. He has extensive experience analyzing the legal and business implications of emerging technologies. Lance writes and speaks frequently on IP and technology issues, and is the founder of CreativeBlockchain.com, a website and blog covering blockchain and related technologies. He is co-chair of the Law & Technology Committee of the New York County Lawyers’ Association. Before becoming an attorney, Lance worked as an editorial assistant at Bantam Doubleday Dell and as a press secretary for a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina School of Law.
