Michael Terpin

Michael Terpin founded Marketeeria (www.marketeeria.com), the first platform connecting independent marketers with companies seeking marketing services, in August 2015. Terpin is perhaps best known for starting another disruptive technology platform in the marketing sector: Marketwire (originally called Internet Wire), the first Internet-based press-release distribution network.  Backed by Sequoia Capital and Hummer Winblad, Marketwire was sold in 2006 for $35 million and is currently one of the top three global company newswires.

Terpin also has run two global public relations firms: The Terpin Group, a top 100 agency which he sold to Financial Dynamics in 2000, and Transform Group, which also includes award-winning social media agency SocialRadius and has become the leading PR firm in the world in the digital currency sector. Terpin is also active in the bitcoin investment sector, including co-founding BitAngels, the first angel network for bitcoin companies, and bCommerce Labs, an incubator for consumer bitcoin and blockchain companies.  He is also a partner at Flight VC, where he helps run the AngelList Bitcoin Syndicate with legendary super-angel Gil Penchina.
